Forskning & Evidensbasering
har på 2000 talet blivit honnörsord inom psykoterapin. Man har klart kunnat visa att psykoterapi har effekt, långt mer än placebo (positiv förväntanseffekt).
Man har dock inte kunnat visa att någon skola (t. ex. kognitiv beteendeterapi eller psykodynamisk terapi) är effektivare än någon annan i genomsnitt.
Man vet att terapeutens roll
är mycket central, 40% av effekten beror på denna faktor.
Psykoterapitekniken (t. ex. hypnos) står för 15% av effekten.
Övriga procentdelar är för närvarande outforskade.
Det vi står inför idag är att forska om vilka tekniker som är effektiva med vilka problemställningar. Detta för att spara mänskligt lidande, tid och pengar.
Delphi Institutets forskningsgrupp Pleroma
är ett nätverk som har bildats för att forska på detta.
Pleroma har universitetsanknytning och består av leg psykoterapeuter med lång klinisk erfarenhet och forskningserfarenhet.
Flera är disputerade.
